So Much Going On

Travel is exhausting.  No matter how good the food, or how incredible the sites there is always that subsurface level of tension on the edge of our consciousness.

But that is no excuse for simply neglecting my desire to learn more about myself or my place in the world.  What cab I do to make my world a better place.

For the last few weeks I have been in a funk.  There have been multiple things going on but I just haven’t been talking about appreciating them.  Just the few things we have seen include:

June 29 to July 2 – Seaside Spectacular All Breed Dog Show

July 14 to16 – Ventura County Fair Youth Horse Show

July 15 – Mother’s Against Drunk Driving Event

I want to do a better job of being aware of what is happening around me.  There are so many good things which fill the heart with joy and lift the spirit.
